First week at MTC!

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!

This is my first (and last) p-day here at the MTC!!  I'm over halfway done with my time here! We are leaving to Georgia early Tuesday morning!  The MTC has been great so far!  It feels like we've been here for forever but at the same time it feels like we just got here yesterday!  The days feel like weeks but the weeks feel like days! I still can't really believe that I'm a sister missionary!!  I've learned so much here, it's hard to remember everything that happened!  My companion is Sister Lang, and we're in a room with two other sisters, Sister Houser and Sister Crowton, and we're all going to the Georgia Atlanta North Mission!  We're really busy all the time, from 6:30am to 10:30pm!  It's been hard to get used to the long hours.  We have an amazing teacher and district.  The Elders in our district are going to Alaska and Washington DC.  Wednesday we got to see the worldwide missionary devotional, which was really good!  The spirit is so strong here, and everyone has lots of good thoughts to share!  Sunday was really good too, a little different with all missionaries.  We just had a ton of classes and devotionals!  Also on during sacrament meeting, they don't assign a speaker, so everyone has to come prepared with a talk and then they choose someone on the spot to speak! That was a little nerve wracking, but I didn't have to speak.  On Monday night we started teaching an investigator at the TRC (Teaching Resource Center), it was a really good experience!  We came with a lesson prepared but after we got to know her a bit, the spirit directed us to teach a completely different lesson, but it went really well!  On Tuesday we had another devotional where Donald L. Hallstrom was the speaker, he talked a lot about forgetting yourself and going to work. This morning we got to go to the temple, which was nice after a whole week of sitting in classrooms. The food here is great, especially when they have donuts at breakfast :)  It's hard to believe in less than a week I'll be in Georgia!
